Heritage Appaloosa stud is located in Libberton, a small village based between Carnwath and Biggar in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, looking at a UK map we are  just below Glasgow and Edinburgh airports, we are approx 3/4 of an hour away from either, by vehicle, approximately 12 miles from J13 on the M74.

Heritage stud prides itself on it's ability to breed stunning Appaloosa foals with the emphasis on colour from our three resident stallions.

For me the Appaloosa breed is perfect, amazing temperament, fabulous conformation, good all rounders for any age group, able to do endurance, showing , western, or just an easy hack, clever intelligent horses,unique colour patterns but most of all great friends.

As a breeder, I am passionate about my horses, no greying gene, providing proper paperwork and making it as easy as possible to own one of these beautiful horses, I certainly maintain that Appaloosa's, wether  it's a spotted horse or not are the best breed ever to own, they are a joy to live with and if I can breed a fabulous foal that is also coloured, that's the icing on the cake for me.
